History

The Research Institute for Digital Media and Content at Keio University (DMC) was selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as part of the Program for Encouraging the Development of Strategic Research Centers financed by the FY 2004 Special Coordination Fund for Promoting Science and Technology. The Institute was reorganized in April 2010.

Oct. Relocation from Mita Campus to Hiyoshi Campus West Annex 1.
Nov. Symposium to commemorate relocation : "Toward the cultural spread and deepening of digital knowledge."

Jan. MoSaIC project starts.

Our project received 5-year MEXT grant for Strategic Research Foundation for Private Universities.
