History

The Research Institute for Digital Media and Content at Keio University (DMC) was selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as part of the Program for Encouraging the Development of Strategic Research Centers financed by the FY 2004 Special Coordination Fund for Promoting Science and Technology. The Institute was reorganized in April 2010.
