History of medieval and early modern art, history of the book. Dr. Ikeda is exploring the possibilities of using the digital image in art historical and bibliographical studies. In addition, she leads the archiving project of digital and analogue legacies from the HUMI Project (1996-2001), a pioneer in the digitization of rare books.
